This a used 16" saddle designed for gaited horses such as Tennessee Walkers, Kentucky Mountain, Missouri Fox Trotters and many others.
It's center-fire which means there's only one cinch--no belly cinch therefore the saddle is very stable because of the triangular front and rear saddle attachment points.
