There are unscrupulous ones out there who copy the ads of legitimate ads, then post them as their own.
In my case, they gave the contact method as an email only.
Beware of scammers.
I never, ask someone to reply by email, but always prefer person to person calls, and list my phone number.
Also, the ad listed the room at $550.
If it sounds too good to be true, it is probably not true!!!
I want to speak with the prospective tenant, and learn about them.
If an ad doesn't give you that ability, or they ask for money up front, my suggestion is to flag that ad.
I also recommend reading the warnings posted by Craigslist for potential fraud, don't give out personal info.
And to those of us who rent out rooms, or apartments, or homes, I suggest diligence in checking at least in your city, to make sure your ad, your photos, etc.
has not been copied and used.
And another word of caution, be careful who you let come to your home to "see it".
Verify, be diligent, and never alone.
A person whose ad has been copied and used! If you should want to call 6 then 6 one, then two zero nine, and too six, seventy-three.
Um, maybe they will copy this, and list it for 550.

Use caution.
