Hello,
We have an adorable apricot standard poodle pup who is almost 7 months old.
He is the most loving and loyal dog I have ever known.
He's playful, has a ton of personality, loves all other animals including cats, incredibly smart and a huge loppy cuddle bug.
He's hypoallergenic and doesn't shed at all.
He's in need of a grooming if you prefer the classic poodle cut, we liked the longer shaggy teddy bear look.
He's had all his puppy shots and is old enough now to be fixed, however, if you prefer a larger dog they suggest waiting until he's a year old.
He's shy with new people in the house at first and gets scared, but takes about 15 minutes to warm up before he's their best friend.
He loves the dog park and playing fetch and is obsessed with water and snow.
He's great with kids of all ages and truly is the best dog.
We live up in an area in boulders on undeveloped state land and recently lost our smallest dog to a mountain lion.
We have seen both the mountain lion and bobcats around the house lately and I have
anxiety everytime I let him out because we don't have a fenced in yard.
After the tragedy of our recent loss, I can't even take the risk with him.
He loves to run and play and it's not fair to him that he's only allowed out on a leash for a few short minutes.
I take him on walks for exercise but my stress due to the situation has become unhealthy and too much and its become an unfair situation to him.
We are asking a rehoming fee of $200, (we paid 1600) which will include his toys and leashes, etc.
He's even started learning to press buttons for what he wants (pets, potty, food, walk) I will include his training buttons as well.
He's truly a great dog and I will be picky to ensure he goes to the best possible home.
He's clingy and loves being around his family so please make sure you have the time for him before adopting.
Thank you!
