*Therapeutic Foster Care Coordinator Responsibilities:*
_1.
Coordinate, implement, and oversee TFC family licensure procedures and requirements:_
* Assist TFC parents to prepare for licensure and licensure agent visits.
* Support and encourage families during licensing process.
* Independently conducts licensing inspections, recommendations, and coaches’ families to compliance with OLR standards.
* Complete initial and mid-term licensing and amendments to licenses for families.
* Conduct re-licensing studies and documentation.
* Conduct quarterly site visits.
* Ensure that any deficiencies are corrected and documented, and reported to OLR.
* Conduct investigations including interviews and make decisions regarding plans of correction independently answering directly to OLR.
_2.
Provide and/or Coordinate education and training for professional TFC families:_
* Ensure fa1nilies understand responsibilities and requirements of TFC parenting.
* Track and record trainings for each family for licensing requirements.
_3.
Evaluate potential TFC parents for appropriateness of their participation in the program:_
* Gather and document relevant data for assessment of families.
* Provide family feedback regarding competency or needs.
* Provide resources and assist families to resolve needs and to increase ability to foster successfully.
_4.
Interact and consult with licensure and professional care providers involved with the child to ensure a successful placement:_
* Work in conjunction with DES/DCS to coordinate the matching process of the qualified foster parent that can best meet the needs of the child.
* Work collaboratively with the child-family team and the development and implementation of the service plan.
_5.
Provide clinical and consultative services to family and child to promote adjustment and on- going stability of the placement:_
* Provide/coordinate 24-hour supervision and crisis intervention and resolution.
* Provide regular telephone and home visit contacts to families.
* Participate in CFT meetings and take notes.
*Therapeutic Foster Care Coordinator Qualifications:*
* Must be at least 21 years old.
* Valid Arizona Driver's License
* Must be able to pass a thorough background check, and obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
* Education: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree is preferred
* Experience: 1-year experience in Behavioral Health.
Experience working with children with emotional and behavioral problems.
* Must pass a TB test
* Individual judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as with others.
* Confidentiality and professionalism are essential.
* In state travel required.
