*Job Summary:*
As an Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer specializing in Cardiac / Vein, you will use imaging equipment and sound waves to create images that allow physicians to diagnose and monitor cardiovascular disorders and diseases.
This is a highly skilled position that plays a fundamental role in the health management of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
*Duties:*
1.
Perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound (sonographic) equipment to record vascular information such as vascular blood flow, blood pressure, circulatory tissue changes, or cerebral circulatory changes.
2.
Prepare patients for the ultrasound procedures, explain the process and make sure they are comfortable.
3.
Operate and care for diagnostic equipment, adjust the equipment according to specific patient condition and body type to obtain the best quality image, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
4.
Evaluate the images for their quality, but also to interpret what was captured in the image.
5.
Prepare the preliminary findings for the physicians who will make the final diagnosis.
6.
Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure.
7.
Ensure the ultrasound equipment is cleaned and sanitized after each use.
8.
Attend relevant department and team meetings, actively engage in knowledge sharing and continue professional development through ongoing education.
9.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
10.
Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists and other medical professionals.

Candidates must have RCS / RVT cert or experience in the following studies:
* Echo
* Carotid
* AAA
* Arterial
