CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant /LNA with Maggie's Hospice - PRN position!

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant for a PRN position.
The ideal candidate will have experience with geriatric patients, including working with patients with Alzheimer's disease or dementia - as well as experience working in hospice and palliative care.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is compassionate, good at solving problems and able to work well within a team.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter who is motivated by helping others, has strong communication skills and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: * Communicate with doctors, nurses, and other medical staff.
* Assist patients with activities of daily living.
* Assist patients in following prescribed diet and exercise regimens.
* Treat the disturbed, noisy, or combative patient.
* Be attentive to the needs of patients and families.
* Document assessments, observations, and interventions in the medical record.
* Provide general health education to patients and their families.
* Assist in moving patients in and out of beds and wheelchairs.
* Have full.
