Experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

  As a provider you will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to clinical vascular examinations.
Responsibilities: * Sees patients at our Prescott, AZ office * Conducts health assessments of patients with potential, acute, and/or chronic health and vascular problems.
* Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms * Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones * Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
* Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
* Prescribing medicine and other treatments * Experience with vein procedures, RFA and Varithena a plus - willing to train.
* Educating patients and families on vascular health and procedures.
* Thoroughly documenting visits.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals - both within the practice and also referring providers Skills: * Understanding of the venous and arterial vascular system - previous experience working in a vascular or cardiovascular program a plus.
* Strong interpersonal skills * Highly organized * Ability to perform in office vein procedures a plus * Experience in wound care preferred * Excellent communication skills * High level of critical thinking * Keen attention to detail * Conversational and outgoing Qualifications: Current registered professional Nurse Practitioner license in the state of AZ.
BLS/ACLS certification.
