RN - Procedure Room Overview: Job Category: Acute - Nursing - Travel Skills: The following experience is required: 2 years of acute med/surg experience IV insertion and phlebotomy skill conscious sedation experience Education: RN License - required Primary Source Verification - required AHA BLS - required AHA ACLS - required IV Certification - required Certifications & Licenses: IV Certification - RN License Procedure RN is responsible for assisting with patient education, administering conscious sedation and monitoring patients throughout procedure and recovery.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to demonstrate a high degree of competence and expertise in the medical office setting.
Capable of prioritizing and following through on tasks and assignments.
Positively adapts to changed and new technology.
Demonstrate professional conduct at all times Understand the appropriate technique of equipment handling, cleaning and sterilization.

Excellent customer service skills - able to communicate courteously and effectively to patients.
