The Salvation Army in Prescott is looking to fill a Case Worker Position.
The successful candidate for this position will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and be able to maintain a pleasant demeanor around clients, staff & volunteers.

The Case Worker will assist clients with all services and share information available through the TSA Prescott Corps Social Services office.
This position will interview clients and determine eligibility for programs.
The CW will provide clients with material services such as choice pantry/food boxes, household & hygiene items, clothing & other vouchers, utility assistance, emergency shelter vouchers, medical prescription assistance & other free services available at the corps.
This employee will assist in seasonal programs such as summer camp, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Other duties will include but are not limited to processing FEMA rental assistance requests, assisting with giving out breakfasts and lunches daily, compiling statistical data for daily & monthly reporting and assisting with Emergency Disaster services intake & processing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to follow direction and work with minimum of supervision.
Must have a valid food handlers certificate.
Ability to supervise assigned volunteers.
Must be proficient in the use of computer applications.
Working knowledge of community resources.
Must be able to work well with the public and handle stress full situations.
Must have Valid Arizona Drivers License.
Must have satisfactorily completed The Salvation Army’s Fleet Safety Program.
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds.
Must be able to come in early, stay late, work weekends as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
