As a BHT, you will provide counseling to support people's recovery, help in skill development and create structure for clients.
This work requires a minimum of a high school degree.
A bachelors in a human service related field is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for client's care on day, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Provides support, education, and structure to clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor client's self-administration of medication.
Document client contacts and complete other forms as required by program policy and procedure.
Have knowledge of and follow all agency and program policy and procedure.
Provide emergency shift coverage as necessary.
Communicate effectively with peers and other units and function as a team member.
Attend weekly group and individual supervision.
Supervise and assist clients with implementation of their residential treatment plan,
Obtain training as mandated by clinic and program policy and procedure.
Facilitate groups and meetings as directed.
Participate in staffing and treatment planning.
Provide transportation for clients to outside meetings and outings.
Interact with and provide role models for clients.
Assist primary therapists in providing continuity of care.
Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum Work Experience:
At least 2 years or combination of education and experience equal to 2 years.
Experience in residential or behavioral health field.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
First Aid, CPR, CPI
