Polara Health is offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus for License Eligible Therapists and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for Licensed Therapists! Polara Health, an accredited community mental health facility in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Camp Verde Arizona, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult Therapist to join our team.
As an Adult Therapist, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive therapeutic services to adult clients with mental health disorders and support their journey towards wellness and recovery.
Job Description: As an Adult Therapist at Polara Health, you will work collaboratively with a diverse team of mental health professionals to provide individual and group therapy services to adult clients.
You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult clients to determine their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
Facilitate therapeutic groups to promote skill-building, coping strategies, and peer support.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed and documenting outcomes.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.
Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and therapeutic approaches in the field of mental health.
Requirements: Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar license in the state of Arizona.
Experience working with adult clients in a mental health setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches for treating mental health disorders.
Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with diverse populations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to client care.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
