Polara Health is the largest local non-profit provider of behavioral health and crisis intervention services in Yavapai County, and serves approximately 8,200 people annually.

The Outpatient Site Manager is tasked with overseeing the administrative, operational, and business functions of our outpatient integrated healthcare office within the behavioral health sector.
This crucial role encompasses managing the employee-employer relationship, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the budget and facility maintenance.
The individual in this position will play a key role in fostering collaboration with other leadership members to enhance outpatient services specific to behavioral health.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and oversee non-management staff performance across all disciplines, including front/back office, physicians, nurses, therapists, and case managers.
Evaluate performance and competency of assigned staff within established timeframes and standards.
Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures through training resources and disciplinary processes.
Monitor and positively impact employee morale.
Implement progressive discipline, including termination if necessary.
Build and maintain a strong network of external relationships with referral sources.
Actively participate in community involvement and serve as a representative to assigned community groups.
Ensure legal obligations are met, complying with federal and state laws, accrediting agencies, and licensing requirements.
Proactively evaluate and improve client and staff experiences.
Lead site team meetings and collaborate closely with leadership team.
Identify, implement, evaluate, and sustain rapid change management.
Work with the Director of Operations to review, update, and innovate existing policies, procedures, and workflows.
Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and assignments.
Ensure and role model the delivery of excellent customer service.
Integrate department services with the organization’s primary functions, fostering a collaborative environment.
Communicate the organization's vision and values for day-to-day activities.
Ensure smooth operations at the site, providing staff with the necessary resources for effective job performance.
Utilize data to support ethical and effective decisions.
Create a work environment emphasizing collective team performance and demonstrating Polara Health’s core competencies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND This position involves exposure to confidential and proprietary information, including personnel, business, clinical, and other private information.
Requires a high level of independent judgment, autonomy, and responsibility.
The Site Manager role is mid-level managerial position with a high degree of responsibility.
Involves extensive public, client, and collegial contact, requiring strong public relations and problem-solving skills with diplomacy and sensitivity.
This position provides services to and regularly interacts with the child/adolescent, geriatric, substance use, and SMI/SED populations.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: Health Care Administration, Public Health, Health Information Management, Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, or a related field of study.
A minimum of four years of relevant experience in roles such as Office Manager, Medical Biller, Financial Manager, or other administrative/operations positions within the healthcare sector.
