*Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) qualifications:*
* Completed a Master’s degree in an accredited occupational therapy program.
* Have an expressed interest in working with children of various diagnoses and ages in a pediatric out-patient clinical setting.
* Evaluate, plan, and implement patient care programs that assist patients in reaching their optimal level of function.
* Have a strong background of sensory integration.
* Provide documentation, progress reports, and discharge reports using online web EMR software.
* May be asked to attend events, training seminars, and other workshops designed to better educate the community and the therapist through AZOPT’s community outreach.
In 2008, Kids Place West opened in Goodyear to provide pediatric physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapy.
In 2015, Kids Place Central opened in Phoenix, Kids Place North opened in Prescott in 2020, and Kids Place East opened in Gilbert in 2022.
With a separate, family-friendly facility dedicated exclusively to pediatrics, our therapists work as a team to provide top-notch services to children with developmental, neurological, and orthopedic diagnoses.
