Responsibilities
Provides support to all of Surgical Services to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications
Minimum
High School graduate or GED
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certificate, and one of the following:
Current AZ CNA certification;
Current AZ LNA;
Documentation of successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program;
Six months of Nursing Assistant experience.
Successful completion of coursework or demonstrated competency in advanced NA skills including:
Blood glucose testing, Removal of urinary catheters, Application and removal of simple wound dressings OR Successful completion of YRMC Advanced NA skills training and demonstrated competency within 90 days of hire
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
Basic proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
