*Position Overview:* We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our primary care team.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in providing high-quality care to our patients in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations, performing routine clinical tasks, and ensuring that patients are informed and comfortable throughout their visit.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring proper preparation and documentation.
* Conduct routine clinical tasks, such as measuring vital signs, administering injections, conducting basic lab tests, and updating medical records.
* Efficiently manage patient flow to minimize wait times and enhance the patient experience.
* Maintain examination rooms by keeping them clean, organized, and properly stocked.
* Adhere to all clinic policies, protocols, and regulatory guidelines to ensure safe and effective care.
* Offer compassionate support and assistance to patients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their health and treatment plans.
* Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive patient care and a positive experience for every patient.
*Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent; certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
* At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for candidates with experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine.
* Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and protocols.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing patient-centered care.
* Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
* Current CPR/BLS certification.
