Hopi Tribe Economic Development Corporation (HTEDC) is located off the Hopi reservation, offices are located at the Continental Plaza in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Taawaki Inn is a unique 2-story, 44-room hotel in Clarkdale, Arizona.
Owned by the Hopi Tribe Economic Development Corporation, a modern hotel that will feature a cultural aspect along with an educational element for guests to experience.
Taawaki Inn will offer activities for guests to come and enjoy, along with learning about the Hopi culture.
With the unique and modern design of the hotel, Taawaki Inn will have amenities of a conference room, gallery, gift shop, fitness center, and cafe.
The 33,000 square footage hotel will have a representation of the Hopi culture to share with guests who come to experience the uniqueness of the establishment.
Taawaki Inn will be the first hotel constructed off the Hopi reservation.

The Hopi Tribe Economic Development Corporation (HTEDC) is seeking enteritic General Manager to join our team for our new upcoming hotel in 2024 at Taawaki Inn located in Clarkdale, Arizona.
The ideal candidates are friendly and courteous, is capable of working as part of a team and is comfortable dealing with customers.
GENERAL PURPOSE The General Manager is responsible for the successful coordination and directing of all activities within the Taawaki Inn through subordinate managers, supervisors, and employees.
The GM is responsible for all areas of the property operations as well as for the highest possible customer satisfaction levels, employee relations and meeting all financial goals.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Financial * Assist in preparing annual budget * Assures property operations meet internal audit standards * Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of financial data and statistics * Reviews and analyze financial statements weekly, monthly, and annually * Recommends and manages capital requirements to maximize financial returns * Increases Taawaki Inn revenue and operating profit contribution * Manages receivables * Submit monthly reports and action plans * Monitor employee productivity * Provide suggestions for increased service or productivity in all departments * Manages the tenants and their contracts * Ensures that all employees follow cash handling procedures Facility Management * Ensures that the Taawaki Inn facility is maintained at all times * Ensures that all areas meet OSHA standards * Ensures that guest rooms are maintained to highest standards of cleanliness and safety * Ensures that all areas are safe and secure Customer Satisfaction * Provide the highest quality of service to customer at all times * Maintain product and service quality standards * Solicit feedback from customers Human Resource Management * Responsible for compliance with all HR policies and procedures by all employees * Develop the Taawaki Inn training plan for management and hourly employees and ensure its successful implementation * Responsible for selection of staff employees and, as required, manager and supervisory personnel * Provide opportunities for advancement and other developmental experiences for all employees * Participate in progressive discipline, up to and including performance evaluations * Ensure a safe working environment throughout the department for all employees by enforcing safety guidelines, building awareness about safety and maintaining all regulatory agency standards * Follow all food and physical safety policies * Insure the employee schedules are posted in a timely manner * Hold regular employee meetings Leadership and Managerial Skills · Demonstrate a proactive and enthusiastic attitude in striving for and meeting business goals and objectives · Recognize the importance of effective leadership in meeting targets set forth in the HCC annual plan · Recognize the need for and demonstrates good communication and listening skill with customers, employees, and tenants · Promote teamwork within Taawaki Inn.
