Specialty medical office with 3 providers is seeking an office manager to oversee daily operations and supervise a staff of approximately 25.
The role of the manager will include hiring, setting schedules, conducting meetings, processing payroll and enforcing compliance with OSHA/HIPAA regulations.
Other responsibilities and duties include:
* Ensuring adequate training for staff
* Monitoring overtime/approving time off requests
* Updating office procedures and manuals
* Accounts payable
* Monitoring billing accuracy and collections
* Monthly financial reports to providers and accountants
* Processing/negotiating group health insurance
* Maintaining provider schedules
* Assist with front and back office tasks as needed
* Evaluate and provide feedback on staff performance
* Monitor/update computer systems as needed
* Conduct/schedule staff meetings
Office Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
* Experience working in a medical office, preferably in management role
* Familiar with regulations, guidelines and standards for medical offices
* High level of customer service skills
* Ability to effectively communicate and manage employees
* Strong organizational skills
* Learns quickly and has strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
