Assistant General Manager - SureStay Hotel by Best Western \*\*Job Summary:\*\* We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team at SureStay Hotel by Best Western.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's daily operations, particularly the front desk, maintaining the cleanliness of the property, and ensuring compliance with Best Western's corporate responsibilities.
This role requires working at the front desk five days a week and providing leadership to ensure efficient and exceptional service to our guests.
\*\*Key Responsibilities:\*\* 1.
\*\*Front Desk Management:\*\* - Supervise daily front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and provide solutions promptly.
- Train and mentor front desk staff in customer service and operational procedures.

\*\*Property Cleanliness:\*\* - Oversee the housekeeping team to ensure all rooms and public areas meet the hotel's cleanliness standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure adherence to hygiene and maintenance protocols.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to address repair and upkeep needs in a timely manner.

\*\*Corporate Compliance:\*\* - Ensure compliance with Best Western’s standards and policies.
- Stay updated with the latest Best Western corporate guidelines and implement necessary changes or updates in hotel operations.
- Prepare for and manage regular audits and inspections by Best Western corporate representatives.

\*\*Operational Excellence:\*\* - Assist the General Manager in operational and administrative tasks.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effectiveness and budget compliance.
- Analyze customer feedback and implement strategies to improve service and guest experience.
5.
\*\*Staff Leadership:\*\* - Lead and motivate the hotel staff to achieve high performance and excellent customer service.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage workloads effectively.
- Conduct staff meetings and provide regular performance feedback.
\*\*Qualifications:\*\* - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a hotel management role, especially in front desk operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Knowledge of hotel management software and proficiency in MS Office.
