*Company Description* Primavera School in Prescott, AZ, is dedicated to providing young children with a nurturing and enriching learning environment.
Our school emphasizes experiential learning, academic excellence, and fostering a strong sense of community.
With small class sizes and active parent involvement, we create a supportive and engaging educational experience for our students.
We are a non-profit private preschool through 8th-grade school with an emphasis on outdoor learning.
*Role Description* This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Preschool Teacher at Primavera School in Prescott, AZ, starting in July for the school year 2024-2025.
The Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum for 3-5-year-olds, developing lesson plans, facilitating communication with parents, and creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
*Duties:* - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals - Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for children - Provide individualized attention and support to each child - Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues - Plan and organize daily activities, including circle time, arts and crafts, music, physical education, and outdoor play - Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents - Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior - Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive learning experience - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment *Qualifications:* -Knowledge of the Montessori Education Method - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred - At least 2 years previous experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting required - Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children *Skills:* - Behavior management - Experience with children - Physical education - Preschool - Child welfare - Educate - Early childhood education We offer competitive pay based on qualifications and experience.
