org #hellohumankindness Responsibilities The Director of Mission and Community Health leads mission integration and community health within Yavapai Regional Medical Center to ensure the mission, vision, values, and heritage are integrated into all aspects of the organization both internally and externally.
In this newly created position, you will promote a values-based organizational culture uniting people around the organization's mission, vision, values and heritage.
Designs and implements educational programming for staff medical staff volunteers, the community and others about the Dignity Health mission, vision, values and heritage.
Oversees hospital volunteer programs and ensures that a robust spiritual care program is in place.
Manages the development and operations of community health improvement programs, collaborates with Finance on community benefit reporting, and oversees the department functions.
Qualifications Minimum Experience Required: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibility in a related field (e.
g.
Spiritual Care Healthcare etc.
).
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory/management experience.
Familiarity or experience with tax-exempt hospital community health/community benefit activities and requirements.
Minimum Education Required: Master’s Degree in healthcare management, theology, spirituality, behavioral science or related fields.
