Hi, I recently moved from Phoenix and still haven't found a solid source of income so I'm seeing how much interest there is in Prescott for a handyman? Or someone that can do just about anything for you? I'm 45yo and have tons of experience in many fields.
I am very good with my hands and can fix almost anything.
I enjoy fixing/repairing things.
Cleaning as well.
You'd be amazed at how many things work better just because they needed to be cleaned.
From wall to ceiling I can fix or clean just about anything you put in front of me and enjoy doing it.
I sold a small business in 2019 so I could spend time with my daughter until she started kindergarten.
And since she did a year ago I've just been doing remote work at home, mainly customer service work.
But I'd really prefer to work with my hands again.
I know there are handymen in Prescott and I'm not sure if they've left enough work for the rest of us.
Or if they own the market up here so that's why I'm doing this, to try and gauge interest.
The business that I sold I specialized in fixing one thing and was the best at it but I always wanted to do more than fix just 1 thing.
I have remodeled a couple houses.
I've swapped engines from cars, by myself.
I've added patios onto houses.
I've painted whole cars.
Built greenhouses.
Complete sprinkler systems.
I also have a lot of experience with landscaping/gardening.
But I'm not really looking for huge jobs like that only showing you my experience.
I went to school for electronics engineering(small scale stuff) but lost interest before I finished.
I've even done small repairs to electronics, appliances, and vacuums.
I haven't had to use a handyman myself in 20 years because I have fixed everything that has broke on me.
And have fixed many of my neighbors and friends things.
It really is amazing how many things are repairable.
I'm looking for smaller jobs that don't require plans or needed blueprints to complete.
Here's a few ideas: Installing TV's on walls, Installing fans, Interior painting, Installing flooring, Cleaning out rain gutters, Installing/fixing toilets or new toilet seats, sink faucets, interior doors, assembling furniture or whatever else.
Etc.
There are so many things I'm not listing because the list is endless.
Maybe you just need an extra set of hands for the day while you are doing work around the house.
I can be those hands.
Tell me to be quiet or ask my opinion on how to proceed on your task.
And like I mentioned before, cleaning.
I can clean your house inside and out.
Like really deep clean it if that's what you want.
Or a basic clean.
Does the whole inside and outside need to be cleaned? Has it been a while since you've been able to clean it yourself? I can do that for you with no judgement from me.
I love being able to see the end results of a day of cleaning and I know you do too.
Even better if I could get paid to do it.
Or maybe you need me to fix multiple things and clean multiple things.
Or have a list of things I could get done for you instead of calling out multiple people.
Have you cleaned the dishwasher filter in a while? Have you cleaned the cooling fins under the refrigerator in a while or defrosting the freezer? What about just cleaning the inside of the fridge that gets dirty somehow? Keeping appliances clean help them last and work better.
Sometimes I can even take things home to fix and return them back to you within the next couple days if necessary
There are some jobs that are too big almost none are too small, all you have to do is ask.
There are times where I will tell you to find a different person for the job.
I am a very honest person and I'm not willing to do a job incorrectly just to get paid.
I've had many thousands of customers and I mainly used to work the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley area so my customers were picky and I am picky so I only look for perfection in my work.
I'm also very easy going so don't be shy in asking me about any kind of a job.
If all goes well, I can turn this into 6 days a week but for now let me know what you got and I can give you a quote.
