ESS Paraprofessional Start Date As soon as possible Job Description: * ESS para will work teacher work hours.
* ESS para will be asked to drive a school van at times for student transport and/or adult supervision on Fieldwork outings.
* ESS para may have morning duties of observing students before school daily and at least twice a week, lunch duty.
* ESS para will provide direct instruction within the general education classes.
Only when needed per approval of staff and parent will pull-out services be provided.
* ESS para will provide guidance in specific IEP goal areas to support individual needs for ESS and 504 students throughout the school day.

helping students use tech calendars for assignments, emails to teachers and parents, getting work from teachers, asking for accommodations of extended time when appropriate, supporting students with reminders on appropriate behaviors required to learn).
* ESS para will communicate with staff on what accommodations should be followed if not seeing them being provided.
* ESS para will be familiar with each ESS and 504 students’ educational and emotional needs, IEP goals, and accommodations modifications.
* ESS para will attend the IEP/MET meetings when within the school day schedule and if not will provide a detailed list of times and items of services they have provided the students.
* ESS para will document each time served with students during their prep (Crew period).
This will be a daily log of all services provided to students.
This could be used for the IEP/MET meetings if kept current.
(this should be a Google document shared with ESS coordinator) * ESS para may be asked to email or make phone calls to students, parents, and staff in order to communicate possible needs for an ESS student.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $15.
50 - $17.
