The Opportunity: Hazy Library and Learning Center of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is looking for a friendly, energetic, and tech savvy individual to join our Access Services team.
As part of that team, this position will play a key role in providing excellent services to our students, faculty, and staff.
The Night Access Services Coordinator is responsible for supervising Access Services operations, services, resources, facilities, and safety issues during the night hours and Sundays.
This position supervises library student assistants at library service desks, ensuring student assistant duties and responsibilities are completed.
This position provides direct assistance to clientele at service desks, including access to and circulation of materials and equipment.
They have sole responsibility at night for addressing issues of building safety, facility problems, and security issues.
Work Hours: Night and weekend hours are required as scheduled.
Varied shifts during finals, breaks, and holidays.
Fall and spring semesters: Sunday – Thursday: 3pm – 12 am Finals extended hours: Sunday – Thursday: 4pm – 1 am Summer A & B (May – August): Monday – Thursday: 8am – 6pm Qualifications Required Qualifications: Previous experience providing exceptional in-person customer service.
Experience supervising and training others.
Associate degree or 18+ months of experience with increasing responsibility Experience with Microsoft 365 or Office and Internet end-user applications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to troubleshoot computer and software applications Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of library operations Experience working with diverse student populations Please upload resume, cover letter, and a list of three work related references including email addresses and phone numbers.
