Job Description
The Department of Humanities and Communication at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott campus, invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach one to two sections per semester of HU 330: Values and Ethics.
The position will start August 28, 2023.
As a part-time teacher, the successful candidate may teach up to 6 courses per year (fall, spring, summer) as negotiated with the department chair.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The instructor is responsible for facilitating the class, assessing student work, working with the course monitor, and maintaining the course Canvas site.
Qualifications
M.
A.
or Ph.
D.
in a humanities or related discipline.
Evidence of successful teaching of college-level students.
The ability to use classroom technology effectively in teaching and learning.
