As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, fostering authentic connections with students, and experiencing personal and professional growth.
*Paraprofessional Responsibilities include:* * Infuse elements of fun into daily classroom activities, making learning an engaging experience.
* Foster authentic relationships with students, providing support and encouragement.
* Collaborate authentically with teachers to implement creative and effective educational plans.
* Cultivate a growth mindset, embracing opportunities for continuous learning and development.
* Contribute to maintaining an inclusive and growth-oriented learning atmosphere.
* Monitor online classwork that is used for remediation or instruction when a teacher is not available.
*Paraprofessional Qualifications:* * High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Associate degree in education, child development, or a related field is preferred.
* Paraeducator certification is a plus.
* Previous experience working with students with social/emotion issues and mild cognitive disability or in an educational setting is advantageous.
* Eligible for a Level 1 fingerprint clearance card *Paraprofessional Skills:* * Excellent communication skills with an authentic and approachable demeanor.
* A passion for creating a fun and engaging learning environment.
* Patience and understanding in working with diverse student populations.
* Strong organizational skills with a growth mindset.
