Sedona Sky Academy is looking for 6-12 grade math teacher to join our team as we develop a new program and culture based on a care-first model.
As our math teacher, you will enjoy a competitive salary, small classes, and support from a team of professionals both in and out of the classroom.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Develop and implement math curriculum and lesson plans for middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, and geometry.
Higher levels of math may be needed based on our residents’ needs.
* Grade work in a timely manner
* Report classroom behavior and success to all stakeholders.
* Manage the classroom with the help of a paraprofessional.
* Serve as an academic mentor who meets with students daily to support them in academic growth and success.
* Serve as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team that supports the greatness of our youth.

* Typically, our students are learning how to learn with diagnoses that include
* Emotional Disorders
* Mild Autism
* ADHD
* Reading/Writing/Math impairments
Help us reach adolescents who need a specialized, caring environment to learn how to succeed in all areas of their lives.
*Requirements:*
* Must have a Bachelor’s or higher in the subject area
* Certification preferred, but not required
