Salary: Salary is based on education level and experience.

In addition to base salary, teachers can qualify for Proposition 301 funds.
Expected annual amount $12,000+
In addition to salary, teachers in this position receive an annual $10,000 stipend.
Requirements/Skills
Special Education -Moderate /Severe Disabilities Teaching certificate from ADE
IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Benefits - All full-time PUSD employees receive the following benefits in addition to their salary
Medical Insurance valued at over $10,250 per year.
PUSD has numerous health insurance plans available.
The District covers 100% of the employees insurance premiums with most plans.
Some plans include cost sharing with PUSD.
There is also an option to purchase insurance for dependents, at PUSD group rates.
Life Insurance ($50,0000) with option to purchase additional for self and family
Pension Plan with the Arizona State Retirement System: District matches employee contributions (appx 12%)
Generous PTO / Sick Leave plan
Opportunities for additional pay as an after-school club leader, coaching athletics, tutoring, etc.
