Description of Position Specialist, Curriculum & Assessment Hiring Range: $19.
36 -$25.
17 First Review : February 15th This position resides in the Office of Instruction and supports district-wide assessment and curriculum data systems including the college course bank, course outline files, progression plans, and program advisement plans.
Supports curriculum design and development in alignment with college and program goals, student pathways, and transferability.
Provide support for the Curriculum and Assessment Manager in preparing assessment reports which summarize program outcomes and student performance.
Work with Curriculum Coordinator to package curriculum proposals for Curriculum Committee meetings.
Attend Curriculum Committee meetings.
Prepare academic tracking spreadsheets for the Curriculum Technical Team.
Review Curriculum proposals for completeness and accuracy with the Technical Team.
Enter courses into Banner (equivalencies, pre req, testing, etc.
).
Assist with articulation task force (ATF) meetings.
Enter courses and other required data into the AZ Transfer system.
Coordinate and manage academic program progression plans; format for catalog and manage plan templates in Degree Works.
Edit and update the catalog for release.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Expectations & Requirements Associate’s degree and/or two years of administrative assistant or higher education experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, office management and time management skills.
Preferred Skills & Abilities Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with a Student Information System (SIS) such as Ellucian Banner and/or Degree Works.
