Amana Washer - works but finicky - $60 (Prescott)

This washer works but not without issue.
I washed 3 loads of clothes with it yesterday so yes it can work but it’s not without issues.
Basically it always starts the process fine , it fills with water and runs through the wash cycle sometimes though it doesn’t enter into the drain/spin cycle itself.
So it shows it’s done but it will have water still in it.
When this happens you have to manually select the drain/spin cycle - which you can do and click start and it will finish.
I have no idea why it does this, it’s an energy efficient washer and the first of that kind I’ve had.
When I did 3 loads of laundry the first and the last load worked fine and did enter the end process itself without issue.
The middle load didn’t enter the drain//spin cycle and I had to manually start it in that position to finish the load.
So in short - it works , kinda.
I’ve just dealt with this and planned to continue to do so but my roommate is less patient than I and wants to get a new washer.
Anyways maybe you can fix it or live with it as I did $60 Pick up only please
