Antique Magic Lantern glass slide - Carved ox cart yoke in Qoorto(?) - c1920s.
The slide label, though worn, clearly indicates the photo's location as Qoorto, which is a mystery to the seller.
The word Qoorto in Ethiopia and Somalia means "neck", but the photo seems clearly European, probably Mediterranean region, looking at the background.
Yoke has the year(?) 1926 carved into it, not too far off from the probable vintage of the automobiles visible.
Slide label is very worn, but the slide is in good condition.
