RARE FIND! Antique Mid Century Solid Maple Rustic Toddler Rocking Horse Toy 23"
A GENUINE original antique rocking horse: Made by Cornwall Wood Products, South Paris, Maine with manufacturer’s stamp on its underside, this well made solid maple antique rocking horse features a mid-century body style, hand-painted facial features, genuine leather ears, red ribbon "reins", and a rope tail tied with a matching red ribbon.
Although there are some surface scratches on the wood of this beloved childhood toy from the 50's, it's as sturdy as ever and ready for a new home after being carefully stored for several years.
Originally purchased in the late 1950s, it has been in careful storage for about 35 years in our mother's estate until she passed away.
Perfectly sized for a small child or doll, this rocking horse is an antique functional item which will add warmth and character to any room.
Display rustic "as is" or make a project out if it with a light sanding/re-staining.
This VERY RARE decorative and functional antique is worthy of your love and TLC.
